Country Landing Page
BOLIVIA
As the poorest country in South America, resources are limited. Willy Mendoza, our in-country director, believes “True poverty is the lack of options.” As a result, he has a strategy for his country that includes building schools, starting micro-credit programs with the schools, clean water and latrine programs.
GUATEMALA
Struggling from over 25 years of civil war, infrastructure and resources do not exist in the remote, rural areas. Our in-country directors are addressing this great need by building programs dealing with clean water, latrines, improved living conditions, healthcare, health worker training, literacy and micro-enterprise.
MEXICO
With such focus on immigration, CHOICE projects in Mexico are receiving national attention – as they actually provide local opportunities for growth. Families have better living conditions and a way to earn money, meaning they don’t have to seek employment outside their communities.
NEPAL
Rebuilding the country after the past 5 years of rigid dictatorship, our country directors are focused on regional and national growth, using step-by-step projects to create viral growth.
KENYA
In Kenya, the focus is on education and using the school as an in-road to the community. Growth and changes started at the school translate to change in the village. Classroom construction is where many villages choose to begin and gives a common goal for the community.
