Edgar Armando shares his story…

“My name is Edgar. I am 16 years old and currently in the fifth grade at Xalibe elementary school. I was one of the very first students to graduate from this newly constructed school built with Spectrum’s support.”

But there was a problem.
“I wanted to continue my education past elementary school but the nearest secondary school was many hours away and too far to travel by foot. My parents do not have the money to send me outside the community to study. An elementary education may be all I ever get even though I desperately want to continue my education.”
CHOICE suporters provided the solution.

“Thanks to your support, I will be attending a brand new secondary school in Sajomte right by my home in Xalibe. I am so excited because I will be able to continue my education – something I thought would be impossible just a short time ago. I’m happy to know that there are people far away that care so much about me.”

“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to succeed.”
Edgar is ready to begin middle school. Thanks to the on-going generosity of our supporters such as Spectrum Health employees, many lives have been changed. Thank you!
